Galapagos Liveaboard
The Galapagos

September 25 - October 2, 2028*

If you're an adventurous diver looking for an experience unlike any other, the Galapagos Islands should be at the top of your list. Why? Because it's one of the few places on Earth where you can dive into a world teeming with unique and rare marine life found nowhere else.

The Galapagos Islands are a top destination for adventurous divers seeking unique and rewarding experiences. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, this protected paradise offers some of the world’s most challenging yet spectacular diving opportunities. Divers can expect to encounter rare marine life, such as massive schools of hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, penguins, and marine iguanas, all found nowhere else on Earth.

The islands, located straddling the Equator in the Pacific Ocean, have played a pivotal role in science since Charles Darwin visited in 1835. His observations of the unique wildlife led to his theory of evolution by natural selection. The extreme isolation of the islands, combined with volcanic activity and the confluence of three major ocean currents, has fostered the development of extraordinary animal species that make the Galapagos a one-of-a-kind destination for divers and naturalists alike.

Wolf and Darwin Islands
The Heart of Galapagos Diving

Darwin and Wolf Islands are the crown jewels for divers in the Galápagos. At Wolf Island, explore reef walls with strong currents, where you’ll encounter schooling hammerheads, white-tipped sharks, and the majestic Galápagos sharks.

Darwin Island, named after Charles Darwin, is a diving paradise. Its famed dive site, “Darwin’s Arch,” offers a drift dive along the wall, known for its strong currents and abundant marine life. Large schools of hammerheads, Galápagos sharks, turtles, and moray eels are just the beginning. Rare sightings like manta rays, tiger sharks, and bottlenose dolphins make this an unforgettable experience.

With pelagic diving that’s second to none, the Galápagos is one of the only places where you can swim through schools of hammerheads, spot a cruising whale shark, and dive alongside silky sharks, sea turtles, and giant morays—all in one dive. At Wolf Island, encounter massive Galápagos sharks and eagle rays, while Cabo Marshall offers face-to-face encounters with giant manta rays and huge schools of black-striped salemas.

The Galápagos offers the thrill of diving in strong currents and deeper waters, making it ideal for experienced divers seeking adrenaline-pumping dives with the chance to encounter marine life on an unprecedented scale. You’ll also find a variety of macro life, including seahorses, nudibranchs, and playful sea lions.

The challenges of diving here—strong currents, deeper dives, and sometimes more difficult conditions—are part of what makes the Galapagos such an exhilarating destination. It’s not for beginners, but for experienced divers, these conditions make for thrilling, adrenaline-packed dives where you'll encounter marine life on an unprecedented scale.
