Dunbar Villa
Dunbar Rock Villa: Our Private Dive Paradise

December 5-12, 2026

Guanaja’s fringing reef is part of a protected marine reserve, making it a premier destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. Situated at the beginning of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef—the second largest barrier reef in the world—this area features diverse dive sites, including pinnacles, vertical walls, lava tunnels, and shipwrecks. One of the highlights is the Jado Trader wreck, a sought-after dive site in the Caribbean. The reef is home to nearly every species of coral in the Caribbean, including rare black coral and a wide variety of sponges, offering divers a rich and colorful underwater experience.

The Villa
Our Private Escape by the Sea

Perched atop a stunning rock formation with 360° views of Sandy Bay, Guanaja, and surrounding cays, Dunbar Rock Villa offers the ultimate private escape. This all-inclusive, 15,000-square-foot villa features four levels of luxury, including direct access to a private beach and a PADI/SSI dive center.

The 4th floor showcases the Great Room, a cozy living area, and dining space. Step outside to the infinity pool and pool bar, where you can unwind with spectacular sunset views. Perfect for relaxation, adventure, and unforgettable moments.

The Diving
Explore the Underwater Wonders of Guanaja

Guanaja offers 50+ named dive sites, with six exclusive spots reserved for Dunbar Rock guests. New sites are continuously discovered along the island’s barrier reef and cays, making each visit unique.

Dive enthusiasts will enjoy a mix of pinnacles, vertical walls, lava tunnels, and wrecks. For a relaxed adventure, the villa’s surrounding flats are ideal for snorkeling and shallow water shore dives in crystal-clear 8–10-foot waters. These waters teem with juvenile fish like queen angelfish and drums, purple sea fans, schools of squid, and needlefish—just steps from the sandy beach.

Unlimited shore dives on the house reef are included with your dive package, ensuring endless underwater exploration.
