The Diving

La Paz is a must-visit for divers seeking vibrant marine life and exciting encounters with large pelagics. Its crystal-clear waters and diverse dive sites offer something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned divers. The region is famous for its playful sea lion colonies at Los Islotes, where divers can interact with curious pups in shallow waters. The surrounding waters are teeming with life, including whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, mobula rays, making it a prime spot for big animal experiences.

The Hotel

Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort is ideally located in the heart of West Bay, offering an unforgettable escape with pristine white sand beaches and access to one of the world’s most beautiful coral reefs.

Whether you’re an avid diver, a sun-seeker lounging by the pool, or someone who enjoys indulging in a rejuvenating massage, the resort caters to all interests and ages.

Snorkeling Safari: Magdalena Bay

From mid-October to December, the nutrient-rich waters off Magdalena Bay come alive with one of nature’s most thrilling spectacles—the second largest sardine run in the world. As massive schools of sardines swarm, predators like dolphins, sea lions, and sharks gather to hunt, creating an unforgettable underwater show. This snorkel safari puts you right in the heart of the action!

Whale Shark Snorkel:

* We’re hoping to snorkel with the whale sharks during our trip, but since they are migratory, they may arrive later than expected. We’re in touch with the dive shop and will keep you updated. If we’re able to go, we’ll arrange payment for the snorkel safari at that time.

Día de los Muertos
