The Nadaam Festival
A Celebration of Mongolia’s Spirit
The Naadam Festival is Mongolia’s most iconic celebration, a vibrant showcase of the country’s ancient warrior traditions. Held every July, Naadam honors Mongolia’s “Three Manly Games”—wrestling, horse racing, and archery—which date back over 2,000 years. Originally practiced to train soldiers and warriors, these games have evolved into a lively festival that brings communities together in a spirit of competition, culture, and pride.
